The "would you take me back?"

Fairytales and happy endings...
Goosebumps and foot popping kisses...
Cinderella and Prince Charming...

All this love with a pinch of some bibbity bobbity boo and all you've got is some butterfly kisses and nauseating lyrics of love and wonder... We have all felt puppy love and once you have past that awkward sprint of adolescence in order to understand the true makings of a relationship, you might even call yourself wise. But let's be honest, the majority of us would reach 30 and still wonder about true love. Maybe it's a gift or maybe it's just the lucky ones that find it early. You could blame Disney but then again, you must have known that it was all fiction to begin with...
The question here is, would you take your EX back???? There are a number of reasons why relationships fail... Cheating may be the most popular reason, but distance, family rivalry, ambition, profession, almost anything can come between two people. As human beings, we have the power to make any issue, no matter how trivial it is, seem so huge. The bigger the difference seems, the bigger the problem. Ultimately we make choices, as should life be lived. Our lives change with every choice and every change in direction we make. Despite this, some of us actually find our way back to each other. Maybe we leave room for that to happen and maybe we secretly just know who that special someone would be and will continue to keep the door open for them just a cinch...
So would you take someone back??? Someone who use to mean a lot to you and apparently still do... In my opinion it would clearly depend on a lot of things. There is obviously no simple answer. If I were to give my best friend advice about an issue like this... I'd say, you would have to weigh in the reason for the break-up in the first place. Unfortunately a cheater is a cheater... It doesn't matter who he/she cheated on with... Your brother / sister / best friend / dog or garden Noam... In which case you might want to get them some help first... Yet if you entertain them in the first place, kudos to you!!!! Then its a question of whether the same differences still exist??? Or better yet, do they still matter???
People change, they do, they really do. They grow and they learn and most of all they begin to understand... But you know what, if they feel the same way you do, they will show it... It finally comes down to the gesture you or they make. Life is way too short to think of what could happen or what may happen or even what they did to you... Moving on is definitely tough, but so are second chances... Take a chance if YOU want to, take a risk if YOU want to. IT IS YOUR life we are talking about.. In reality it all comes down to chance because no one can understand the matters of the heart...
